Where I'm from, says Blaq $hea, we use "Silly Wit It" like others use "Crazy" or "Buck". So the girls in the clubs get "Silly Wit It" (another banger from the CD). Blaq $hea embraced life as a rapper, as a youngster back in 1985; when inspiration struck in the form of "Eric B. For President" by Eric B. and Rakim (Paid In Full). He took to not only rapping but writing his own material. 2006 found the now-grown Blaq $hea coming into his own, playing packed shows, selling his CDs and collaborating with other Louisville, Kentucky artists. "Under Construction", set for a Summer 2008 release, will be Blaq $hea's full-length debut. He has already distinguished himself with a series of mixtapes. 'The difference between those and "Under Construction", says Blaq $hea, is the level of freestyling. The mixtapes were more like freestyles. This album will feature maybe one freestyle'. Blaq $hea was nominated by the Kentucky Music Pool as Rookie of the Year in 2007.
